Mini-Rack for ThinClients

Home-Servers are for geeks, nerds and freaks. That’s ok for me, but as soon you need to place a server for your home or for the parents home, there is requirement of at least the wife’s or parents acceptance factor (see also wikipedia WAF).

Beside the wife’s and parents acceptance factor, the mini-rack already passed the cat acceptance factor.

The concept is very modular and can be stacked nearly infinite. Baskets are screwed as unit while each separate basket connects with bolts together, so the stack can be disassembled without screwing.

In each basket a mini computer like a Lenovo Thinkcentre or HP Elite Desk thin client has enough room.

Alternatively power supplies or ethernet switches can be placed and mounted. There is also the plan to have mounts for Raspberry Pi ready.

Everything will be free available as 3D print data with instructions soon!
